日本でも一般的になっていますが、アメリカで出産する際にバースプランを作成しました！
もちろんお好みがあると思うので、使いたい箇所はぜひコピペ活用いただければ幸いです♪
バースプランとは、妊婦や家族の希望をまとめた出産計画のことだよ。出産前に時間をかけて考えておくと、当日はスムーズ！
バースプランに書いたこと
下記長いですが、実際に要望として伝えたことの一覧です。Google翻訳を活用しました。
⑴I would like a vaginal delivery.
経膣分娩を希望
⑵I would like my husband to be present during labor and delivery.
陣痛・出産の間、夫に立ち会って欲しい
⑶I would like an epidural as I want to minimize the pain.
痛みを最小限にしたいので、硬膜外麻酔を希望
⑷If an episiotomy is necessary, please inform me beforehand. Please ensure local anesthesia is applied during the suturing/stitching process.
会陰切開が必要なら事前に教えて欲しい
実施するなら縫合時に局所麻酔を希望
⑸I prefer not to have medical students or interns present solely for observation.
見学のみの学生やインターン生には同席してほしくない
⑹I would like my husband to take photos and videos.
夫に写真や動画を撮って欲しい
⑺I would like to see my placenta after delivery.
自分の胎盤を見たい
⑻I would like to have skin-to-skin contact (Kangaroo care) with my baby right after birth.
カンガルーケアをしたい
⑼Unless medically necessary, I would prefer to avoid an IV drip.
必要な場合を除き、できれば点滴を避けたい
⑽I would like to use a mirror to see the baby coming out during delivery.
分娩時、鏡を使って頭部が出てくるところを見たい
(11)I would like my husband to cut the umbilical cord.
夫にへその緒を切って欲しい
(12)According to Japanese tradition, I would like to take a small piece (about 3 cm) of the umbilical cord home.
日本の風習に沿って、へその緒を3センチ持って帰りたい
(13)If any injections or medications are given to me or my baby, please provide details of all treatments in writing.
赤ちゃんか自分に注射・投薬の必要があれば、内容を紙で教えて欲しい
(14)I would like to consult with an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant).
ラクテーションコンサルタントを希望
ラクテーションコンサルタントは、授乳指導をしてくれる専門職の人だよ。
(15)I plan to mix-feed (combination of breastfeeding and formula feeding).
母乳・ミルク混合育児を希望
(16)I do not wish for circumcision.
割礼を希望しない
(17)Please provide the following information in writing:
1. Date and time of birth 2. Total duration of labor (and exact time the placenta was delivered)
3. Blood loss amount 4. Name of the attending physician
5. Baby’s weight, height (length), chest circumference, and head circumference
下記情報を紙で教えてください
1.分娩日時 2.分娩にかかった時間 3.出血量 4.医師の名前 5.赤ちゃんの体重・身長・胸囲・頭囲
実際に使ってみて
当日３部印刷し持参しました。最初に担当した看護師に手渡し、分娩室の壁にも貼っておきました。
まともに見てもらえないだろうなと思っていたのですが、予想に反して看護師それぞれがきちんと目を通してくれ、これはどういう意味？と詳細を確認してくれました。
結果、希望は全てかなえてもらえました♪

はにぷの気持ち
初めての出産だからわからないことも多かったよ。ただ、看護師や医者はみんな親切で、拙い英語でも要望を言えばきちんと聞いてもらえたから、安心できたよ。希望すれば通訳もつけてくれるから、活用していこう！
